We understand that as a leader you are often taking care of everybody else, whilst putting yourself last. Self-care is a necessity, not a luxury, especially when going through a life transition such as menopause. During this time it's important to understand what's happening to you as well as any potential scenarios that you might face in your role as a leader.

Menospace has collaborated with Linda Plant, one of the UK's most recognized business leaders, who will share her experience of going through menopause at a time when she was often the only female in the room. This event will teach you that by having awareness, a positive mindset and taking action, you can thrive through menopause.


In this session we will look at the facts, stages and symptoms of peri/menopause, so you have a better understanding of what is happening to you.


You will:

  • Learn about  some of the challenges you might face during menopause, such as; increased stress, decreased energy, mood swings, anxiety and a lack of confidence

  •  Have an opportunity to share your experiences with women who are similar to you, helping you to realise that you are not alone

  • Get equipped with the right knowledge so you can navigate this transition with confidence


In this session with Linda Plant, you will learn why having the right mindset is key to overcoming any obstacles you might face as a leader.



You will:

  • Discover the tools Linda used to navigate this transition, whilst running multi million pound organisations and bringing up three children.

  • Hear from Linda what it takes to thrive when facing the stereotypes, expectations and barriers as a senior leader going through menopause.

  • Gain a sense of renewed confidence and a feeling of empowerment.


In this session we will be joined by Nutritionist, Ceri Ball, who specialises in women's health, specifically gut health, hormonal health, energy levels, low mood, and weight.

You will:

  • Discover the role nutrition, diet, exercise and lifestyle play in menopause.

  • Gain insightful information, useful tips and practical tools to help you make positive changes and improve your symptoms.

  • Learn how to manage stress and discover the small changes you can make that will have a big impact on your health during menopause.
