Support Your Staff Through Menopause

Menopause is not just an issue for women. It’s an issue for organisations, leaders, team managers, co-workers and all who are contributing to the culture of the workplace.

The Story Behind Menospace

Hi, I’m Haley, the founder of Menospace.

We work with organisations to normalise menopause conversations and improve support for women in the workplace.

With over 15 years’ experience delivering workplace training and a master’s degree in Organisational Psychology, I understand the importance of wellbeing at work and the influence it has on a business. Getting this right improves retention, increases productivity, and reduces absenteeism.

In 2021, after experiencing debilitating symptoms, I discovered I was perimenopausal and, like many women, I didn’t really know what this meant. This led me on a path of exploration to understand how this transition would affect my life, and why, when every woman experiences it, hardly any of us talk about it.

After discovering that there are over 6.5 million menopausal women in the UK workforce, and that 1 in 10 of these women are leaving work due to a lack of support, I realised that something needed to change. This is why I created Menospace.

The training we deliver is practical, motivational, and inspiring. Small changes can have a huge impact, and this transition that every woman goes through does not have to be awful. With the right support, education, and know-how, it can be transformational — just as it has been for me!

What Our Clients Say

"Working with Menospace over the past few years has been invaluable. The training has increased awareness of women's health and wellbeing across our teams, which is one of our inclusion and diversity focus areas. We've seen greater allyship and more open conversations. One of the most impactful outcomes has been the creation of our Menopause Champions – a dedicated group now actively supporting colleagues and driving change from within. We really value that Haley takes the time to tailor her courses to meet our specific needs and support our strategic goals.

We're now looking forward to expanding our knowledge further through the upcoming Women's Health Champion training, which will broaden our understanding of areas like menstrual health, fertility and gynaecological conditions, helping us support staff more effectively."
